Theresa + James | Married at North 4th Corridor Brick + Mortar
If youβre not new to my online presence, you know I thrive off the sun, and all all things light. Well, this January day: full of overcast and foggy skies might have forever changed what I look for on a winter wedding day. It wasβ¦.perfect. A grey day filled with the warmth of the brick of this venue was just the vibe Theresa + James were going for.
I love winter weddings. LOVE. Enjoy viewing their day through my lens!
and then, with winter and all, we popped over to the Smith Bros building + up to Revere to shoot some more bridal party + portrait couple photos.
Siri + Rohan | married at the Franklin Park Conservatory!
a Southern Indian wedding including an American Ceremony, Hindu Ceremony and reception at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus Ohio
Siri + Rohan had a perfect mid summer wedding celebration. An American ceremony in the morning followed by a Hindu ceremony, a break, then their elegant evening reception at the Palm House venue of the Franklin Park Conservatory.
Iβm always so impressed by just how much grace couples who incorporate MANY events into their days areβ¦theyβre so energetic and shine throughout the entire dayβ¦.and theyβre almost always my favorite days!
quick outfit change, and onto the next!
and, finally! a night time reception. Love love love! enjoy!

IS THIS A THING!! Can I share some knowledge with ya!? Weβll go through as many favorites of favorites I can think of until itβs either 1. garden season or 2. wedding season! Ready for a bold start!? Favoriteβ¦β¦.wedding venue in Columbus! Letβs go with a top 5!

STRONGWATER
Strongwater Columbus can start this list off strong. Itβs basically a blank slate that a couple can do up as much, or as simple, as their vision allows. Itβs easy to access - and the space allows for a variety of set ups on a wedding day. With both indoor and outdoor space, youβre set for any weatherβ¦ and Iβve seen lots of it! THE rainiest wedding I think Iβve ever experiencedβ¦and I promise, while you might worry about rain on your wedding day, it always brings a level of emotion for your guests! AND, LETβS NOT EVEN GET STARTED ON THE SPOTS TO FIND FOR PORTRAITS HERE!!
You know you live in Ohio whenβ¦.almost all of your favorite venues are because they are βsafe for many kinds of weather.β And, while this is true for this venue, too, itβs hardly hard to see why there are a bajillion other reasons to love it!
ο»ΏThis venue. Letβs just talk about how wonderful it is that Miloβs Catering went ahead and brought it back to life after what weβve all been through since 2020. Itβs simply stunning. And, a wonderful way to celebrate Columbus.
Itβs wonderful in all the seasonsβ¦and Lord knows you canβt count on anything anymore when it comes to consistency in wedding weather!
**addendum**
Iβm sorry, this list is incomplete without pointing out thatβ¦.BY FAR AND AWAY, my absolute favorite place to shoot is on anyoneβs private property. Anyone Iβve worked with, or even written back to an inquiry about a private property wedding knows this. There is something so so special about taking a space, meaningful to YOU, and transforming it to a place to welcome your most loved family + friends, and start your married life together.
Aimee + Steve | Married at the Renaissance Faire
I could not wait to shoot this wedding! The renaissance faire! It definitely didnβt disappoint. A day filled (for me!) with candids and keeping my photographer eye open to shooting without any direction at all. And, for Aimee + Steve, a day filled with all their favorite things theyβve ever wanted to share on their wedding day!
pretty little details
Jorgensen farms wedding Columbus ohio by Jessica love
sometimes, (ahem, January, February, March in the northern hemisphere) itβs just nice to look at a few unrelated, but equally gorgeous, styled details. Let your brain stop thinking and just enjoy it with your eyes. For me, itβs often my flowers I am scrolling through (one of those kinda posts coming soon so you can see the glory of THAT)..but hereβs some wedding pretty for no other reason that maybe you need a mid week grey winter pick me up!
Emily + Brad / married at Nationwide
wedding at nationwide hotel and conference center
Raindrops + willing couples + a flash will forever hold a place in my heart! I love the Nationwide Hotel complex for ease in being all in one place for photos.
